Terms of service

These terms apply when you browse NORONEL, create an account or buy from our store. They’re written to be readable, so please take a few minutes with them.

1. Using NORONEL

By using this site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.

2. How buying works

NORONEL is the storefront for officially licensed, made-to-order merchandise. When you continue to checkout, your order is placed with our checkout and fulfilment partner, which acts as the seller of record. It processes your payment, calculates and collects any sales tax, VAT or import duties that apply, produces and ships your order, and sends your receipt. The terms and policies shown at checkout also apply to your purchase.

NORONEL never sees or stores your full card details. You don’t need a NORONEL account to buy.

3. Products and prices

  • Every item is made to order after you buy it. Production and delivery estimates are in our Shipping policy.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars. We check current prices and availability again before you continue to checkout, and the final total (including shipping, taxes and any duties) is shown before you pay.
  • Colours on screen and print placement can vary slightly from the finished product.
  • If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price, or becomes unavailable, the order may be cancelled and fully refunded.

4. Orders and cancellations

Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed and you receive an order confirmation. Because items are made to order, an order can only be cancelled before production begins, so contact us as soon as possible. Orders may be cancelled and refunded if we suspect fraud, if a rights issue affects a product, or if an item can’t be produced.

5. Returns, refunds and problems

Our Returns & refunds policy explains what to do if something arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong, and your rights to cancel. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

6. Accounts

Accounts are optional for shoppers and let you keep a wishlist and see your orders. Keep your password private and your details accurate. You’re responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud or abuse. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

7. Author partners

Authors who partner with NORONEL do so under a separate written agreement that sets out rights, royalties and payments. These terms don’t create a partnership, licence or employment relationship with anyone.

8. Intellectual property

The NORONEL name, site, artwork and merchandise designs belong to NORONEL or are used under licence from the authors and rights holders whose stories they represent. Products are for personal use. Please don’t copy, reproduce or resell our designs or site content without written permission. See our Copyright & IP policy to report a concern.

9. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no fraud, automated scraping or bulk requests, attempts to break security, or interfering with other people’s use.

10. Liability

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, NORONEL is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This doesn’t limit liability that can’t legally be limited, such as for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. The date below shows the latest update.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where NORONEL’s operator is based. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
